PARK CITY, UTAH – Doing business, living, buying or selling homes in the area known as the wildland urban interface is becoming a hot topic. Recent fires in South Tahoe and Southern California have made it clear to homeowners and realtors alike that wildland fire issues must be addressed.
The Park City Board of Realtors Environmental Issues Committee will sponsor a presentation on “Wildfire Concerns and Your Home.”
This free lecture will be held on Thursday, April 24th at 10:30 pm at the Park City Board of Realtors office, 1889 Prospector Avenue.
Dave Ferguson, a wildland urban interface specialist, will discuss defensible space, fire-wise native plants, insurance issues, and building codes.
The program is free and open to the public. Due to the popularity of these free lectures, reservations should be made by calling 200-6900.
