Realtors and Recycle Utah Announce Business Workshop on Reducing Energy Consumption and Saving Money
Advance Registration opens for Business Workshop on Saving Money by Reducing Energy Consumption; Co-Sponsored by Recycle Utah & Park City Board of Realtors
CITY, UTAH – Advance registration is open for the third in a series of carbon footprint workshops for Summit County businesses offered by the Park City Board of Realtors and Recycle Utah.
“Save Energy and Improve Your Bottom Line” will be held Tuesday, October 23rd at The Lodges at Deer Valley from 1:30-5 p.m.
Professionals from Rocky Mountain Power, Park City Mountain Resort, and solar and lighting consulting firms will teach businesses how to cut their energy expenses and improve the environment at the same time.
Workshop topics include measuring and tracking energy usage, lighting and heating with new technologies, earning energy incentives, and cutting fuel usage.
The workshop is open to Summit County businesses on a first come, first served basis. The cost is $15 per person and includes the use of a custom-developed business energy tracker spreadsheet. Registration is required because advance preparation will help participants get the most out of the session.
The workshop is open to Summit County business owners, managers, maintenance personnel, and other professionals who make decisions about energy expenditures in their businesses.
Hotel managers, condominium homeowner association officers, retail business managers, restaurant owners and managers large office complexes are especially encouraged to attend.
