Park City’s Construction Sets New Records in 2007
Park City’s builders are enjoying a hot real estate market for new construction. Construction figures for permit-authorized construction through September totaled $174.1 M, besting the entire year of 2006, according to the Park City Building Department. The record in construction was previously set in 2006 at $173.3M, and 2007 is well ahead of that pace.
The Building Department estimates that year-end numbers will exceed $200M, potentially doubling the 2004 totals, and quadrupling from 2002, when the Winter Olympics and a post 9/11 slump set the builders back.
Park City is still viewed as a good value in mountain resort property, and there are big and small projects throughout the city. For information on the Park City Real Estate Market, please contact us at www.jimandbillie.com.
