American Ski Company of Park City announced last week that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Maine resorts, Sunday River and Sugarloaf/USA, to Boyne USA, Inc. for $77M in cash.

This action follows the previous sales of ASC’s other resorts of Steamboat, Mt. Snow, Attitash, Killington, and Pico. The remaining ASC resort is now The Canyons in Park City, Utah.

Boyne USA, Inc, has interests is seven other North American resort properties, including Big Sky Resort in Montana; Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands and Bay Harbor in Michigan: Brighton in Utah: Crystal Mountain in Washington and Cypress Mountain in British Columbia, Canada.

American Ski Company continues to strengthen its balance sheet and will focus on continued development of The Canyons in Park City.
