Successful Mothering Convention to Benefit Peace House
Mothering is a lot of work – think of all the demands: cooking, cleaning, clear communication, discipline, dealing with depression, getting husbands to help, balance, organization, finances, reading to our children, handling sleep issues… if this list is exhausting you, come get rejuvenated at the 2007 Successful Mothering Convention (www.successfulmothering.org), sponsored by FM100 and KSL’s new show, Studio Five (weekdays at 11am).Fabulous speakers include Dian Thomas, Don Aslett and Sandra Phillips, Jane Nelsen, Janet Penley, Utah Mamas Rachael Herrscher and Stephanie Peterson, and many more – over 50 topics will be covered! We’re inviting 1200 women — moms of all types — single, step, soccer and slacker moms — from across the Wasatch Front to take a break from the daily doldrums and come get support, motivation, inspiration, laughter, and education — and door prizes too! Saturday, February 24, from 8:00 am (light breakfast provided) to 5:30pm (buffet lunch is included) at the newly rebuilt Murray High School in Salt Lake City. Register with a friend and you each get $5 off!
