7 pm — FIGHTING GOLIATH (30 min.) Texans of all backgrounds and interests fight the construction of 11 coal-fired power plants in order protect their environment. See how this film serves as an icon for similar struggles all over nation, including here in Utah. Narrated by Robert Redford.
7:30 pm — A LAND OUT OF TIME (28 min.) Time is running out for vast swaths of the Rocky Mountain West as millions of acres of public land are exploited for oil & gas drilling. Who is in charge of our public lands?
8 pm - THE APPALACHIANS (20 min.) A powerful segment of this compelling documentary — mountain-top removal has been selected to show the fate of the Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia.
8:30 pm — WIND OVER WATER (15 min.) In 2001, Cape Wind Associates of Boston announced plans for America’s first offshore wind farm. Almost immediately, a battle began between environmentalists and residents.
