It focuses on Daniel Plainview, a miner who happens upon black gold during an excavation. Daniel Day-Lewis won the Golden Globe and has been nominated for an Oscar for his searing portrayal of an obsessed man who embarks on a steadfast journey to master the oil business. Accompanied by his young son, Plainview launches a campaign to convince small-town property owners they should let him drill their land. There Will Be Blood is a new American epic of mesmerizing power. It features a soundtrack by Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood.
