Charles Ferguson’s No End in Sight delivers a riveting analysis of the U.S. Government’s approach to constructing the Iraq war and the subsequent occupation. Focusing on the months immediately before and after the toppling of Saddam Hussein, the film draws on jaw-droppingly frank interviews with an impressive array of high-level government officials, military personnel and journalists to expose a chain of critical errors, denial and incompetence. Through Ferguson’s lens we see how the Bush administration spent just 60 days to plan the invasion, and ignored crucial intelligence warnings that careful planning, massive troops, and international support were critical to the successful transformation of Iraq into a democracy.
