Teams are the backbone to Relay For Life!
In the months leading up to the Relay, teams raise money by any number of fundraising events — bake sales, car washes, yard sales, dinners, dances, opportunity drawings, craft sales and many more imaginative ideas!
If you know 7-14 people who, like you, would like to fight cancer, why not join together as a team and do so? Once you’ve raised your money, you’ll attend the Relay August 15-16 to celebrate your efforts and participate in the ‘relay’ part of the event — each team has at least one member at all times walking around the Relay course at the Quinn’s Junction soccer field for the entire 14 hours. This is our way of saying, “Since cancer never sleeps, we’ll not sleep until we find a cure.”
