summer-2006-rev-1.jpgPark City’s first and only improvisational comedy troupe will be performing Tuesday, February 27th at 8:00pm. Since they no longer have weekly shows, they are excited to be performing in Park City at the Sidecar. Creative Director, Nate Sears, said, “We’re changing our show a bit, improving the production of the show. This will be an event different from our other shows.” The troupe have a fewsurprises for the audience. “We’re looking forward to the additions and changes we’re making and can’t wait to see the audience’s reactions”. Long time troupe member, Kim Page, added, “At first we were dissapointed not having a weekly show, but we now see that putting on an event every once in a while may be just what locals want.” Troupe members have been stirring their creative juices and writing short skits. Kim remarked, “Hey, it works for Second City, I can’t see why it wouldn’t work for Off the Top!”

The doors will open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm. $10.00 at the door.
Troupe members that will be performing are John Burdick, Paul Tan, Rachael Young, Steph Donovan, Kim Page, and Nate Sears. Other members include John Spung, Sandy Tieman, Susan Dolan, Jake Plumley and Sina Amedson.

The Sidecar is a nonsmoking bar located at 333 Main Street in the Main Street Mall on the 2nd floor. They serve “Fat Kid” pizza - a great New York thin crust style pizza with many toppings to choose from. So come early, get a great seat & have a slice & a beverage and get ready to laugh!

I caught your show on Tuesday, 2.27. It was really great, much more “polished” than usual. Nice job though I’ll expect the same in future shows. While all the improver’s were funny, I though Nate really stood out. That dude can rhyme like a weasel in a cardboard shirt!

Hey Ed, thanks for coming to the show & your comments. Future shows will be more like the one you saw. And as far as Nate goes? He’s the bomb!
