Girlfriends Go Tours Offer A Wide Variety of Adventures for 2008
I’ve always liked a tropical beach vacation, after all I live where there are currently eight feet of snow in an ominous looking snow bank outside. But, truly, after two days of reading a book on a sunny beach I get bored. I need activity, investigation of the culture and mixing with locals. I crave relaxation, but I also need adventure.
The remedy? Girlfriends Go: Costa Rica, in April, of course. With Girlfriends Go, you and your friends will bike, surf, rejuvenate, rappel, laugh, jump out of trees, salsa dance, learn Spanish, do yoga, then laugh some more. This adventure is an amazing combo of activity and pleasure in a paradise setting of lush rain forest.
If you choose the Girlfriends Go: Tuscany Hiking and Yoga Retreat, in May, you will wake to a perfect cup of Italian coffee before you venture outside of the centuries old Tuscan farmhouse and salute the sun from the olive orchard. All before hiking the trails that meander through rolling hills connecting charming medieval villages. End the day with a pasta making class and wine tasting with our friends from the local vineyard.
With Girlfriends Go: Ireland, in July, we’ll explore the beautiful emerald hills of Ireland. Pedal along the timeless coastline and quaint villages of the Connemara and Galway, enjoying glimpses of ancient fortress ruins and breathtaking vistas.
Or come and play with Girlfriends Go: Park City, in July, on our home turf in the mountainous playground of Park City, Utah. We’ll explore by mountain bike some of the 250 miles of single track trail that wind through this alpine wonderland as we work on skills in a fun and supportive environment with the girls.
Finally, celebrate the harvest with Girlfriends Go: Tuscany, in September, for a mountain bike race/ride Italian style. Ride past castles and through vineyards ripe with the Sangiovese Grosso grape. The rest of the week unfolds with Italian style fun and culture– living life fully. What makes Girlfriends Go Tours unique and special? Us, your tour guides/owner operators, who plan every detail of an unforgettable week with insider’s knowledge of the area and culture with great friends in these special places. But, mostly our signature ability to laugh and enjoy life and share that with our new girlfriends! Toss that snow shovel and start planning to join us for a transformational week of pure fun with the girls!
Can I put on a skirt and join Girlfriends Go?
For some reason, men have posed this question to me. I chuckle and tell them yeah, yeah. No, I’m serious, is often the insistent response. Men, we don’t mean to exclude you. We love you! But we also know that sometimes it’s easier for the girls (or the guys) to get away together.
Keep in mind, fellows. Girlfriends Go Tours know their stuff. We are happy to guide couples through the distant lands that we know and love. We might even consider helping out to guide a guys’ trip (we’d try not to make you share beds!). But for now, wear your kilt in the privacy of your own home and send your gal on a Girlfriends Go Tour. Why not even suggest she take a friend or two? Celebrate a milestone birthday? It will come back to you many times over….I promise.
Every girl deserves an adventure…
Girlfriends Go Tours are unforgettable adventures that include biking, cooking, laughter, running, surfing, language, wine tasting, yoga and tasty cultural treasures. Come explore the world with us in 2008 as we cycle through Tuscany, swing like monkeys in the Costa Rican rain forest, and bike along the Irish coast!
