HOLIDAY GIFTS THAT GIVE TO THE FRIENDS OF ANIMALS SUMMITY COUNTY-SHOP FOR A CAUSE . SHOP FOR PAWS

dog-and-cat-calendar.jpgGreetings!

The highly anticipated 2008 FOA calendars have arrived! These adorable calendars make great holiday gifts and are now available at Furburbia (located at the Tanger Outlet Mall, directly below Mrs. Fields) for just $25 each. All proceeds benefit the animals. Pick up yours today!

While you’re at Furburbia, be sure to pick up a Park City On Board game. For just $36.99 you can own a piece of Park City real estate and help animals in need this holiday season! The game features local Park City businesses and landmarks and plays like the popular Monopoly® board game. The game is also available at several area retail shops.

The weather is supposed to turn cold this week, so why not pick up a Friends of Animals hooded sweatshirt at Furburbia? They’re stylish, warm and just $40!

Already have the above items? You can still help the animals this holiday shopping season by purchasing gifts, plane tickets, hotel reservations and so much more online.

Just go to www.goodsearch.com, enter Summit County Friends of Animals as your charity and click on the “GoodShop” box. This will take you to a list of the merchants who have signed on to be part of this program. The list includes many big name retailers: Amazon, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Land’s End, E-bay, Target, Barnes & Noble, Eddie Bauer, Radioshack- over 130 retailers in all.

Are you planning a holiday trip? All the major travel websites like Travelocity, Priceline, Orbitz, Hotels.com, CheapTickets are available, too. Every time you click over to one of the partner merchants from the GoodShop site and make a purchase, a percentage of the purchase price will be donated to FOA!

The amount varies by merchant, but it averages about 3%, and goes up as high as 20%. The more you shop, the more money that will be donated to Summit County Friends of Animals. And none of this costs you a thing!!!

Wishing you the best this holiday season,

Amy Roberts
