FOA recommends that all Pet Lovers review the news on Pet Food Recalls.  The Federal Food and Drug Administration has periodic updates on their website.  More information is released weekly and the recall itself has expanded.  It has been confimed that wheat gluten and other addatives purchased from international suppliers are less then pure and in fact are enhanced with chemicals to pad the bottom line.  This is of critical concern for pets and soon may include human food.  Go to the FDA Website to find out the latest information.    Go to www.friendsofanimals.net to support your local rescue organization.
