San Diego State Film School Grad Jared Rodriguez Debuts Short at the Park City Follies

luckyjohn_sign-resized.jpgLocal Parkite, Jared Rodriguez, who attended Park City schools from 1995 – 1998 and graduated from San Diego State Film School in 2006 is honored to have his short film, “Lucky John” be shown during the intermission of the Park City Follies April 26-28. Jared Rodriguez or Jared Yanez, as he is known in the film world, has been busy writing short, as well as feature films while living with and helping his grandparents, Dick & Donna Page of Park City.

Jared was inspired to write “Lucky John” while visiting family in Park City during Sundance a couple of years ago. He and his cousin (also in the film industry) were walking back to the Page’s and found themselves lost on Lucky John in Park Meadows. Besides writing the short 11 minute film, Jared also directed, acted and did all of the post production to this project. His cousin, Troy Page did the cinematography and also plays the part of “Terry” in the production
