Lectric TV, Crazy Parkite Productions, and Saffire Productions are pleased to announce that their joint production, THE WRITE STUFF, a short film that premiered August 12th at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, has been accepted into the 2007 Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.  An Academy Award qualifying festival for best short, the CICFF is in its 24th year and is the largest festival for children’s films in North America.  Programming over 200 films from 40 countries, the CICFF showcases the best in culturally diverse, new cinema for children, and is the only children’s film festival to be an Academy Award qualifying festival for best short film.

This year the CICFF will take place in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, October 18th through 29th.  Screening times of THE WRITE STUFF (written and directed by Park City local Stacy Dymalski, and starring fellow Parkites Nate Sears, Billie Harsch, Kim Page, and Derrick Dymalski) will be posted on this blog when they become available.
