L.A. Times Spotlights Mark Eaton!

Contributed by Stacy Dymalski - Posted: April 10th, 2007

headshot2.jpgOn Monday, April 9, 2007, the Los Angeles Times ran a great story about local former starting Jazz center, Mark Eaton, and the film Park City-based Crazy Parkite Productions is making chronicling his rise from basketball bench warmer to NBA record-holder.  You can read the article in its entirety at: http://www.7ft4.com/press/latimes-04092007.pdf.  Written by L.A. Times staff writer Jerry Crowe (in the Crowe’s Nest column of the sports section of the Times), Crowe focuses on the inspirational angle of Mark’s story and how everyone can learn to succeed if they just don’t give up on themselves.  Mark relays this same message in his popular keynote speaches.  For more information on Mark’s public speaking (and how you can book Mark as your next speaker), go to http://www.7ft4.com/.

As of Wednesday, December 27, 2006, Matt Watson of NBA Fanhouse on AOL Sports picked up the Tribune story and posted “The Mark Eaton Story: Coming to a Theatre Near You” on http://nba.aolsportsblog.com/2006/12/27/the-mark-eaton-story-coming-soon-to-a-theater-near-you/.  Also Deadspin Sports News posted “Some Casting Director has Their Work Cut Out for Them” at http://www.deadspin.com/sports/mark-eaton/some-casting-director-has-their-work-cut-out-for-them-224586.php.  Check it out!
