BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS KICKS OFF 2009 St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concerts at Deer Valley Resort on July 3
PARK CITY, UT: Summer doesn’t officially begin in Park City until outdoor music fills the air at Deer Valley Resort’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater.
Kicking off this year’s lineup of national artists on Friday, July 3, is Grammy® award-winning jazz-rock outfit, Blood, Sweat & Tears. Presented by Park City Performing Arts Foundation, the show is the first of five St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights performances scheduled by the local non-profit this summer, and marks 40 years of non-stop touring by the powerhouse ensemble. “Now, here’s a band that smacks of Americana,” says PCPAF executive director Teri Orr. “We really couldn’t think of a better way to fire up our St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights concert series and Independence Day weekend than with classic rock that will get everyone out of their seats. This concert will be all about having fun.” St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights at Deer Valley Resort is presented by Park City Performing Arts Foundation.
