Utah Job growth was just under one percent in June in contrast to the national trend of negative growth. The state unemployment rate remains low at 3.2% compared to the national unemployment rate of 5.5%.

Business leaders are optimistic that the Housing and Recovery Act of 2008 will stimulate the construction and financial activity sectors.
