Park City experienced approximately a 3% growth in overnight visitors over last year according to Bill Malone of the Park City Chamber/Bureau.

In the summer, occupancy has increased to about 60% of lodging, while the winter rate is about 75%. Park City continues to round out nicely as a destination resort.

There is a steady growth in “destination visitors” to Park City with the scheduling of more youth sporting events including, lacrosse in June, the Triple Crown softball championships in July, and a soccer event in August.  These programs only enhance other fantastic summer events such as the Arts Festival, Park City Jazz Festival, and concerts at Deer Valley.

Conventions are still the top summer draw for visitors, and the continued growth in air service, including the recently announced Delta Airlines direct flight to Paris, has increased the recognition of Park City.
